Sculpture

I am continuing to work on a series of mixed media wall sculptures. The series is essentially an experiment with the classic nude and a simplified human form- abstracting , incorporating non-traditional media, adding a splash of the contemporary. Some of the works are illuminated, incorporating my fascination with the non-traditional media of electric light. And recently, I have become "obsessed" with the human head....faces, masks, sculptural vessels. Some pieces are purely conceptual. Some whimsical. Others incorporate the fantastical and psychological elements of surrealism. Some are ethnically inspired. In terms of content and subject, the works are largely influenced by people and our society- both the positive and negative aspects. *NEW WORKS...*
